Pin My File is provided by Schmidt Service Partner AB, company number 559570-0880, Sweden, under the Long Lasting Apps brand.
Your files
When you choose, photograph, scan, paste, or share an item, Pin My File stores a copy in the app's local container on your device. Schmidt Service Partner AB does not receive, upload, inspect, or process the content. Changes to an original file do not synchronize with the local copy.
Permissions
Camera access is used only when you choose Take a Photo or Scan Document. Photo Library, clipboard, and file access occur only after you choose the corresponding action. The app does not access these sources continuously or in the background.
App data collection
The app does not collect personal data, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, diagnostics for the developer, or tracking information. It contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDK. Joining the website mailing list does not change how the app works.
Purchases
The optional Full Access purchase is processed by Apple. Pin My File uses StoreKit to load Apple's localized price, complete or restore the purchase, and verify entitlement. Schmidt Service Partner AB does not receive payment-card information. Apple may process purchase and distribution information under Apple's own privacy policy.
Retention
A pinned file remains on the device until you remove the favorite or delete the app. Removing a favorite deletes Pin My File's copy and does not affect a separate original. If a photo or scan was created inside Pin My File and not saved elsewhere, no separate original may exist.
Website and app
The app does not send files, contacts, purchases, or usage information to the website or mailing list. Email addresses are not taken from app downloads, TestFlight, purchases, imported contact lists, or support requests. The website and its hosting provider may process ordinary technical request and security logs. One-way cryptographic representations of a visitor's network address and submitted email address are held in server memory for rate limiting, for no longer than 24 hours, and are not written to the mailing-list record.
Optional mailing list
If you enter your email address, actively select the consent box, and submit the form, Schmidt Service Partner AB sends the address to Zoho Campaigns together with the selected language, Pin My File interest, signup page/source, consent version, and subscription or confirmation status. Zoho also records service timestamps needed to operate the request. The purpose is to send product news, practical tips, and occasional offers, normally no more than twice per month. Signing up is voluntary and does not affect app access, TestFlight, purchases, downloads, or support.
Consent and confirmation
The legal basis for mailing-list marketing is your consent. The box is not selected in advance. Zoho sends a confirmation email, and the address becomes an active subscriber only after you use the confirmation link. You can withdraw consent at any time through the unsubscribe or preference link in each marketing email, or by contacting hello@longlastingapps.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place while the consent was valid.
Zoho Campaigns and transfers
Zoho Campaigns is the mailing-list service and processes subscriber data for Schmidt Service Partner AB. The current Zoho account uses Zoho's .com data centre, so data may be processed in the United States and accessed or processed in other countries by Zoho group companies or approved subprocessors. Zoho states that it uses contractual transfer safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. Schmidt Service Partner AB will enable the form only with the required data-processing terms and safeguards in place. See Zoho's privacy information for current details.
Mailing-list retention
An active subscriber record is kept until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent, request deletion, or the list is no longer needed. Unconfirmed requests are not used for marketing and are retained only as needed to operate and protect the double opt-in process. After an unsubscribe, a minimal suppression record may be kept when necessary to ensure that the address is not added again against your choice or to meet legal obligations.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing. You always have the right to object to direct marketing and to withdraw consent. Contact hello@longlastingapps.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or your local data-protection authority.
